White's 27 help UNC Wilmington knock off Marshall 78-69

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Trazarien White scored 27 points as UNC Wilmington beat Marshall 78-69 on Thursday night.

White shot 7 of 13 from the field and 11 for 14 from the line for the Seahawks (9-2). Shykeim Phillips scored 16 points and added six rebounds. Maleeck Harden-Hayes was 4 of 11 shooting (2 for 6 from 3-point range) to finish with 12 points.

The Thundering Herd (5-8) were led in scoring by Kamdyn Curfman, who finished with 15 points. Obinna Anochili-Killen added 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Marshall. In addition, Cam Crawford finished with 10 points.

Both teams play again on Saturday. UNC Wilmington visits Arkansas and Marshall hosts Louisiana.
