White scores 19 in UNC Wilmington's 79-74 victory against Delaware

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Trazarien White had 19 points in UNC Wilmington's 79-74 victory against Delaware on Sunday night.

White added eight rebounds for the Seahawks (11-5, 2-2 Coastal Athletic Association). Shykeim Phillips scored 17 points while shooting 7 of 15 from the field and 3 for 3 from the free-throw line. KJ Jenkins had 13 points and was 5-of-10 shooting (3 for 7 from 3-point range).

The Fightin' Blue Hens (10-7, 2-2) were led in scoring by Gerald Drumgoole Jr., who finished with 16 points. Jyare Davis added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Delaware. In addition, Niels Lane had 12 points and seven rebounds.

Jenkins scored 10 points in the first half for UNC Wilmington, who led 38-36 at halftime. Phillips scored 15 points down the stretch in the second half to help lead UNC Wilmington to a five-point victory.
