Jackson's 20 lead Lafayette past Loyola Maryland 79-64
BALTIMORE (AP) — Shareef Jackson had 20 points in Lafayette's 79-64 win over Loyola Maryland on Saturday.
Jackson also had six rebounds for the Leopards (4-11, 1-1 Patriot League). Caleb Williams went 7 of 12 from the field (4 for 8 from 3-point range) to add 20 points. Andrew Phillips had 19 points and went 7 of 14 from the field (3 for 6 from 3-point range).
The Greyhounds (4-11, 0-2) were led by Braeden Speed, who finished with 18 points, four assists and two blocks. Jacob Theodosiou added 13 points for Loyola. Sam Springer also had 11 points. The Greyhounds extended their losing streak to six straight.
Jackson led the Leopards with 15 points in the first half to help put them up 45-25 at the break. Williams scored 12 second-half points.
