Gordon's 35 lead Iona past Fairfield 91-82

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) — Greg Gordon's 35 points led Iona over Fairfield 91-82 on Friday night.

Gordon had 12 rebounds and three blocks for the Gaels (10-10, 5-4 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Jeremiah Quigley scored 20 points while shooting 6 of 9 from the field and 7 for 7 from the line. Jean Aranguren was 3 of 8 shooting (2 for 4 from 3-point range) to finish with eight points.

Caleb Fields led the way for the Stags (12-9, 6-4) with 27 points and three steals. Fairfield also got 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists from Jalen Leach. Brycen Goodine also put up 12 points.
