Filipovity scores 23, Maine knocks off Albany 81-73

BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Peter Filipovity had 23 points in Maine's 81-73 victory over Albany on Thursday night.

Filipovity also contributed 11 rebounds for the Black Bears (10-10, 2-3 America East Conference). Kristians Feierbergs scored 16 points while going 6 of 10 (4 for 5 from 3-point range), and added five rebounds. Kellen Tynes shot 5 of 12 from the field and 5 for 10 from the line to finish with 15 points.

Sebastian Thomas led the way for the Great Danes (10-10, 2-3) with 20 points, four assists, two steals and two blocks. Amar'e Marshall added 15 points for Albany. Jonathan Beagle also had 14 points, 13 rebounds and two steals.
