NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (AP) — Jordan Derkack scored 33 points as Merrimack beat UMass-Lowell 74-68 on Saturday night.
Derkack had five rebounds and three steals for the Warriors (4-5). Devon Savage scored 12 points, going 4 of 10 (2 for 7 from 3-point range). Samba Diallo was 2-of-3 shooting and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line to finish with nine points.
Max Brooks led the way for the River Hawks (5-2) with 18 points. Ayinde Hikim added 12 points and three steals for UMass-Lowell. In addition, Quinton Mincey had 11 points, two steals and two blocks.
