Blanton scores 24, Eastern Kentucky downs FGCU 90-82

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Devontae Blanton's 24 points helped Eastern Kentucky defeat FGCU 90-82 on Wednesday night.

Blanton was 9 of 12 shooting and 5 of 5 from the free throw line for the Colonels (13-10, 9-1 Atlantic Sun Conference). Isaiah Cozart scored 21 points and added 13 rebounds and four blocks. Leland Walker shot 4 for 10, including 2 for 4 from beyond the arc to finish with 12 points.

Isaiah Thompson finished with 17 points for the Eagles (10-15, 4-6). Zach Anderson added 16 points and three blocks for FGCU. Dallion Johnson also put up 14 points.
