Atwell has 26 as UNC Greensboro defeats Kansas City 76-64

NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — Donovan Atwell's 26 points helped UNC Greensboro defeat Kansas City 76-64 on Friday.

Atwell was 8 of 16 shooting, including 8 for 15 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 3 from the line for the Spartans (3-1). Mikeal Brown-Jones added 22 points while shooting 6 of 11 from the field and 9 for 13 from the line, and he also had seven rebounds. Joryam Saizonou had 10 points and was 4 of 7 shooting (1 for 3 from 3-point range).

The Kangaroos (2-3) were led by Cameron Faas, who recorded 18 points. UMKC also got 13 points and 10 rebounds from Jamar Brown. In addition, Anderson Kopp had 13 points and five assists.
