Alamutu scores 13 as Vermont takes down Binghamton 82-62

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) — Sam Alamutu had 13 points in Vermont's 82-62 victory against Binghamton on Thursday night.
Alamutu finished 5 of 7 from the field for the Catamounts (14-5, 4-0 America East Conference). Nick Fiorillo scored 12 points, going 4 of 6 (2 for 3 from 3-point range). TJ Long had 12 points and was 5 of 9 shooting (2 for 5 from 3-point range).
Tymu Chenery led the Bearcats (8-8, 0-3) in scoring, finishing with 16 points. Symir Torrence added 11 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals for Binghamton.
