Clippers’ Austin Rivers to return from injury vs. Wizards

The Los Angeles Clippers will be getting back a familiar face against the Washington Wizards on Monday, as reserve guard Austin Rivers will be active and ready to go, according to Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com:

Rivers has missed the last three games with a sprained right ankle, which he suffered in a 107-97 loss to the Houston Rockets on Dec. 19.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Rivers told reporters in Salt Lake City on Saturday that he had circled the Wizards game as when he hoped to return.

The Clippers (18-13) are looking for their third straight victory on Monday.
