WWE Survivor Series is going to be a show to remember. Not only will teams from Raw and SmackDown do battle in three traditional Survivor Series matches, but the dream match of Goldberg versus Brock Lesnar headlines the night. But before the action gets underway, the WWE Survivor Series Kickoff show will set the stage for the massive evening.
This year’s kickoff show begins at 5:00 PM ET and features two hours of in-depth analysis from a panel of WWE Hall of Famers. Booker T, Lita, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Renee Young will all weigh in on the card. And given the sheer size of lineup, there is a lot to discuss.
Take, for instance, the main event between Golberg and Brock Lesnar. These two legends met once before at WrestleMania 20, but those in attendance and those watching around the world panned the match.
Given that both Goldberg and Lesnar were slated to leave WWE after the match, the crowd reacted negatively to the lackluster effort the two men put forth. Goldberg got the victory; however, it was by no means a convincing win. What will the kickoff panel have to say about this overdue rematch and its sordid history?
Also, the kickoff panel will break down the three traditional Survivor Series matches set for the event. Between the ten-man tag match, the women’s match, and the men’s match, there is a lot on the line for the Raw and SmackDown brands. Who do the experts think will have a bigger night?
