WWE star Randy Orton speaks out against national anthem protests
Dozens of athletes from across the world of sports have been recently voicing their own concerns over social issues following Colin Kapernick's controversial decision to kneel during the national anthem last month. Kaepernick explained that he chose not to stand during The Star-Spangled Banner because he will not "show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color."
WWE star Randy Orton took a strong stance against protesting the anthem in a series of Tweets.
Sneering? More like shaking my head. Courage? Lol riiiight. Courage. Thats what it takes to stand up and fight, not raise a fist. https://t.co/DqQt11cNmS
