On Tuesday night (October 4, 2016), SmackDown Live stopped in San Diego, California where The Miz put together a “Dolphumentary” entitled “The Success of a Failure.” It was a career retrospective of basically every low moment Dolph has had during his WWE career, including his time on the Spirit Squad. Somehow, Miz was able to dig up two members of the team (Kenny and Mikey) and they came down in their green outfits to do a bunch of cheers and attack Dolph. Ziggler finally got the upper hand and cleaned out both members before going after Miz, will this be the last time we see Ziggler on SmackDown?
We also got to see Dean Ambrose, John Cena, and AJ Styles face off one more time before their big match at No Mercy. Dean and AJ did most of the talking and when Cena had enough, he decided to make it more of a physical confrontation with each man getting their moment with the title.
In other action, Carmella and Nikki have a match booked, Curt Hawkins is still weird, and Randy Orton gets some revenge on Bray Wyatt (for full coverage on the entire show, check out our review).
