The WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view has wrapped up. Three cell matches took place, all of which featured titles on the line. The Raw Tag Team and WWE Cruiserweight Champions were also defended at the show. With all that happened in these matches, there should be plenty to fill up Monday’s episode of Raw from the XL Center in Hartford, CT.
Sasha Banks and Charlotte ended up main eventing Hell in a Cell inside the structure. WWE had kept quiet on who would receive this spot for weeks. There were candidates in Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Rusev to close the show, but WWE ultimately went with the first women’s match to ever end a PPV.
With the women having closed out Hell in a Cell, what will be the fallout from it? Could there be a new challenger in line for the Raw Women’s Championship?
The New Day defended the Raw Tag Team Championship against Cesaro and Sheamus. This got thrown together when Mick Foley decided to award the foreign-born stars with a joint title shot. They didn’t come out of Hell in a Cell successful, though, after a disqualification finish. What will be next then for Raw’s odd couple? Could they find a way to face New Day again?
The only title change from Hell in a Cell saw Brian Kendrick beat TJ Perkins for the Cruiserweight Championship. Might a rematch take place on Raw for the title?
