A new stable debuted at Thursday night’s WWE NXT taping.

On Thursday night, WWE NXT ran their latest taping from Full Sail University. This continued the build toward NXT TakeOver: Toronto, which takes place during Survivor Series weekend in November.

For the past month, fans have seen vignettes for “Sanity”. It had been difficult to decipher who this could be for, or if it got planned for an event. No details were given other than a few cryptic videos.

Well, at the September 15 taping, “Sanity” debuted. Be warned that spoilers for future episodes of WWE NXT will be seen below.

One of the first round matches of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic saw Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode lose to Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton, who were accompanied by two masked people. A female is revealed to be one of them, and is Nikki Glencross. The masked leader turns out to be former TNA star Eric Young. They beat down Dillinger, while Roode left as the attack began.

Photos of the group stylized as “SAnitY” can be seen below. They will debut at the October 12 episode of WWE NXT.

This is an intriguing development for WWE NXT, who rarely has a stable on the brand. Most notably, there have been alliances over the past few years, like Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch, and Emma and Dana Brooke.

Young hasn’t appeared on NXT since April, where he lost a one-off debut against Samoa Joe in a non-title match. We noted three weeks ago how the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion had been rumored to be signed with WWE.

Wolfe and Fulton had mostly been used as enhancement matches over the past few years. This will be their first opportunity to be pushed on programming.

Glencross signed with WWE earlier in 2016, and debuted on an August episode of WWE NXT as a babyface.

This stable should be something to watch for when they debut in October. What could their impact be?
