WWE NXT: Live Spoilers for October 19 to November 9
What will happen at Thursday’s WWE NXT taping as TakeOver: Toronto gets set up?
On Thursday night, the latest WWE NXT taping will take place from Full Sail University. This should take fans through the next four weeks of TV, and lead us to NXT TakeOver: Toronto. The show will be seen on Saturday, November 19.
Hours before the taping, we found out the main event match of the TakeOver event. Shinsuke Nakamura will battle Samoa Joe in a rematch for the NXT Championship. They faced off at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II for the belt, which Nakamura successfully won.
Ever since this night, The Samoan Submission Machine has looked for revenge and the title. He seemed to reconcile with Nakamura, but viciously attacked him afterward. The King of Strong Style has since returned to NXT TV.
We should see the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic continue as well. This tournament will culminate at TakeOver: Toronto with some of the first matches having already taken place. We could even see the second round get underway. Who will be Austin Aries’ partner? Will Kota Ibushi receive someone new to tag with after the Hideo Itami news?
Asuka is going to need an opponent for TakeOver: Toronto, but no one seems to be at the forefront. Liv Morgan tried but got pummeled. That leaves the likes of Billie Kay, Ember Moon, and Peyton Royce, all of whom haven’t been built enough for a title shot. Will one of them break out and emerge at this WWE NXT taping, though?
We’ll also continue to see heel Andrade “Cien” Almas in action. Given his attack on Cedric Alexander, we may see a match develop for these two at TakeOver. Might that be finalized on Thursday night?
All of this should make for an intriguing taping at Full Sail University. Begin following along with the updated spoilers around 6:30 PM ET, which should take us to November’s live special.
