When is WWE Hell in a Cell 2016?
When is the WWE Hell in a Cell 2016 pay-per-view?
On Sunday night, the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view will take place from Boston, MA. This is the second exclusive show of Raw’s since the WWE Draft. They will have three Hell in a Cell matches headline the event, all of which are for championships. These could be dubbed the “triple main events” of the evening.
Roman Reigns and Rusev will wage battle for the WWE United States Championship inside the cell. This feud began in August after Reigns floundered around the roster for a few weeks. He targeted The Bulgarian Brute’s title and won it at the Clash of Champions PPV in September. This match should end their three-month feud on Sunday night.
It may be a bit soon for Rusev to win back the U.S. title given the title change of just over one month ago. However, can he pull off the upset?
Kevin Owens will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins. These two wrestled for the belt at Clash of Champions, which saw Owens win via distraction from Stephanie McMahon and Chris Jericho. This time around, outside interference is allowed as they’ll be in a cell match. Could there be another messy finish to a match in this feud?
Sasha Banks will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Charlotte. This feud has lasted since January, but with a brief break in between. The title has been traded between these two three times. However, Sunday could be the last time they face each other for a while.
The Hell in a Cell PPV can be seen on Sunday, October 30 at 8:00 PM ET. Plenty of matches will take place on WWE’s latest live special, but what will steal the show?
