Watch The Undertaker's chilling return to WWE
WWE icon and longtime SmackDown star The Undertaker made his first appearance in a WWE ring in seven months for the 900th episode of SmackDown Tuesday - and the 51-year-old may be on the verge of a full comeback.
The Undertaker interrupted Edge’s interview segment with the SmackDown men’s team for Survivor Series. He stared down Shane McMahon (whom he beat at WrestleMania 32), and delivered a motivational speech to the SmackDown roster - hinting that he could be making more regular appearances in the future.
“WrestleMania will no longer define who I am. I’m back, taking souls, and digging holes. Survivor Series was where the Undertaker was born, and SmackDown has always been my home.
Now, that brings me to the second reason I’m out here. At this year’s Survivor Series, there’s no reason to fear failure. But if you fail, if you fail, you will have reason to fear the Deadman. Team Raw better rest in peace.”
Many - myself included - expected The Undertaker to hint at who his potential WrestleMania 33 opponent could be, but his promo opened the door for so much more.
