Tommy End Appearing at WWE NXT Live Event on Thursday (Photo)
Tommy End is going to be at Thursday’s WWE NXT live event, but could there be more to it?
In October, WWE announced their latest group of recruits for the Performance Center. This got highlighted by Chris “Roderick Strong” Lindsay, Damian “Big Damo” Mackle, Sarah “Crazy Mary Dobson” Bridges, and Tom “Tommy End” Budgers. Strong recently debuted on NXT as Austin Aries’ tag team partner for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
On Thursday night, it seems that someone else may be making their debut, except at an NXT live event. The WWE NXT Twitter page posted a photo of Tommy End and said he will be “live front and center” for the Fort Pierce show.

Given that End is in a suit jacket and pants, it wouldn’t seem that he’ll be wrestling. That could always change, though, but it’s possible he just speaks to the crowd and introduces himself.
End is a 31-year-old from Amsterdam who has over a decade’s worth of wrestling experience. He spent most of his time competing across Europe, including for Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), PROGRESS Wrestling, and westside Xtreme wrestling. He is a one-time PROGRESS Wrestling Tag Team Champion and held three different titles with wXw.
The potential for End in NXT remains to be seen. Whenever he joins the TV product, he could be an intriguing singles competitor to watch for. He would join the likes of Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, and Shinsuke Nakamura.
With Tommy End at Thursday’s NXT live event, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him show up on the WWE Network soon. When he does, he should be able to make an impact.
