Japanese stars have traditionally struggled to make it in WWE, but a new wave of world-class wrestlers from Japan have become fan favorites and are poised to take over the main roster in the coming year. Kota Ibushi and Akira Tozawa are two of the top-promoted wrestlers in the ongoing Cruiserweight Classic, and Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka have become two of the biggest stars on the NXT roster.
