New Day break WWE World Tag Team Championship reign record on RAW
New Day did indeed break the record of Demolition as the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in history
Coming into Monday night on WWE RAW in Philadelphia, one of the main storylines being focused on was the New Day and their amazing WWE World Tag Team Championship reign. With a win in a triple threat match on Monday night, New Day would break the record held my the legendary Demolition as the longest-reigning champions in history.
With the way WWE booking can go, you really didn’t know whether they’d let them break the record or take the titles off of them one day short of the record. Well, the company decided on the former, as the trio walked out with the belts after defeating Cesaro and Sheamus as well as Anderson and Gallows in the opening bout of the evening.

Next, now we all have to sit back and wonder just how long it is until they have those belts taken away. At nearly 500 days now, while watching a record-breaking performance was cool and all, some have been clamoring for a change in regards to the Tag Team champs on RAW.
Time will tell, but for now, the record books in WWE can add this trio as the longest reigning tag champs in history.
