Luke Harper Returns at WWE Live Event in Chile (Video)
Luke Harper made his WWE return on Wednesday night at a live event.
In March, Wyatt Family member Luke Harper went down with a knee injury, which had a timetable of about six months for a recovery. Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan would continue the stable until the WWE Draft in July. Wyatt and Rowan went to SmackDown, and Strowman got selected to Raw.
Harper had been declared a “free agent” by WWE, free to sign with Raw or SmackDown. We recently noted that he got cleared for a return, but it was unknown which brand he would join.
Well, Wednesday’s WWE live event in Santiago, Chile may give an indication of what will happen. Harper made his return at the show to team with Kevin Owens in the main event. This event featured all Raw Superstars.
Harper received a decent pop from the fans, which can be seen below.

This should answer the question on which brand the former Intercontinental Champion will go to, despite Rowan getting injured. It would indicate that he’s going solo on Raw, something he hasn’t done since early 2015. This resulted in a title run, but little else afterward.
If Harper does go to Raw long-term, how he’s used will be interesting to watch. A return to the mid-card scene seems likely with Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns controlling the headlining spots. Harper could even contend for the United States Championship once this Rusev vs. Reigns feud ends.
This WWE live event return should mean Luke Harper is close to appearing on TV. Something could happen as soon as Monday or sometime before Hell in a Cell on Sunday, October 30.
