John Cena asks fans on Twitter to 'show their grit'
John Cena returns to television Thursday night, but not in the way most fans are used to seeing the WWE superstar. Cena is stepping outside of the squared circle to host a new competition series on FOX called American Grit, where civilians will be put through vigorous challenges under the mentorship of military veterans.
Leading up to the show's premiere, Cena has asked fans on Twitter to use the hashtag '#showyourgrit' to submit photos of times where they have endured their own challenges. Needless to say, things got pretty emotional.
Here are some of the top #showyourgrit tweets that will hit you right in the feels.
