James Ellsworth’s fame has grown once again with the release of this WWE t-shirt.
James Ellsworth showed up on Raw in July to get crushed by Braun Strowman. It marked the return of squash matches to build up WWE Superstars, but this also turned Ellsworth into a name. From the pre-match interview he cut to how he got pummeled in the ring, the man became a star overnight. WWE recognized this and continued using Ellsworth but on SmackDown. He has been featured a handful of times in the AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose feud for the world title. However, last Tuesday, his role went a step further.
Styles challenged anyone for a match, which led to Ambrose coming out. They didn’t end up fighting, but Ellsworth ended up appearing to be The Phenomenal One’s opponent. The Lunatic Fringe got made the special referee too. This led to him helping Ellsworth defeat Styles by hitting Dirty Deeds twice, and gave Everyone’s Favorite Jobber a WWE World Championship shot in the process.
Well, the Ellsworth hype train has continued. WWE released an authentic, real, totally-not-fake t-shirt of his on their shop website.

If he’s going to be WWE World Champion, then there’s no worth you could put on that national treasure of a shirt.
Ellsworth will get his WWE world title shot on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown vs. Styles. It should be a spectacle for however long it lasts. Either we’re going to see Ambrose do whatever he can to help The Chinless Wonder win, or Styles is going to obliterate him. There’s obviously a minuscule chance of a title change, but it will make for some entertaining TV, right?
The legend of James Ellsworth will write his next chapter on Tuesday. He’s got a title shot and now a t-shirt. What could be next?
