Bray Wyatt Wins WWE Elimination Chamber 2017: Video Highlights
It was pure mayhem inside the Elimination Chamber on Sunday night. When the dust settled, Bray Wyatt walked out as the new WWE World Champion.
Elimination Chamber was the last major show for SmackDown Live before WrestleMania. It was a jam-packed card from top to bottom, featuring several great matchups.
But the main event was the Elimination Chamber match itself. John Cena attempted to defend the WWE World Championship against Bray Wyatt, AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, The Miz, and Dean Ambrose.
In the end, though, Cena’s record 16th world championship reign was short lived. He wasn’t even around at the end of the match. When all was said and done, Bray Wyatt walked out of the chamber as the new WWE World Champion.
Let’s get to the highlights from the main event of Elimination Chamber!

Once all the introductions were made, it came down to AJ Styles and John Cena to kick off the match. They wasted no time in renewing their epic rivalry. Aj connected with an Argentine backbreaker powerbomb, while Cena came back with a Code Red.

Cena seemed primed to hit a Five Knuckle Shuffle on Styles, but the countdown to a pod opening commenced. The next man to enter the fray was Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose. He quickly neutralized AJ Styles with an Orange Crush on the grating outside the ring.

The Lunatic Fringe got the first crazy spot of the match, as well. He climbed to the top of the pod and hit Cena with a flying elbow drop. Cena then showed off his strength with a double German suplex, taking down Ambrose and Styles simultaneously.

Styles and Cena began scaling the wall of the chamber, with Styles eventually knocking the champ off. AJ was met on top of a pod by Ambrose, who knocked Styles off the pod. A modified Tower of Doom spot saw Wyatt take down Styles.

Next to enter the match was Baron Corbin. With no one scoring an elimination yet, Corbin hit Ambrose with the Deep Six. Corbin would hit Cena with the End of Days, but Ambrose would break up any possible pin.

The last pod opened, and Corbin eagerly awaited The Miz to enter the match. However, Ambrose rolled up Corbin from behind for a surprise elimination, and Corbin was the first man out. Angry at the elimination, Corbin refused to leave the chamber, assaulting Ambrose viciously across the entire chamber.

Once Corbin finally left, The Miz played the part of an opportunist and pinned Ambrose, eliminating the Lunatic Fringe. The final four were Styles, Cena, Wyatt, and Miz.
The Miz – the freshest man in the match – went on a tear. A series of kicks to Wyatt and Cena kept them down. Miz also hit Wyatt with the Skull Crushing Finale outside the ring.

But as soon as he leapt to attack Cena in the ring, Cena caught him and hit an AA, eliminating Miz.

Cena kept the momentum going, hitting the Five Moves of Doom. He then hit a stereo Five Knuckle Shuffle on both Styles and Wyatt. An AA to Wyatt put him down but not out, and Styles reversed an AA into the Styles Clash, but Cena kicked out at two.

Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Cena countered it into an AA. However, this time Styles kicked out at two. Cena went for the homerun, leaping off the top of a pod with a cross body block on both Wyatt and Styles. The move left him a little worse for wear as well, and he was unable to capitalize on it.

Cena got to his feet, and went for an AA on Wyatt. Bray was able to wriggle free and counter with Sister Abigail to put Cena away. This would guarantee a new champion, as the final two were Wyatt and Styles.

Neither man would give an inch, and both fought tooth and nail to get to WrestleMania. Styles connected with the Phenomenal Blitz, but Wyatt landed a massive lariat to score a near fall.
Styles hit a springboard 450 splash, but only managed a two count after a delayed cover. Trying to put the match away, Styles went for a Phenomenal Forearm – but Wyatt countered it into Sister Abigail for a victory.

As the show went off the air, Randy Orton appeared on the ramp. Orton, the Royal Rumble winner, has a guaranteed WWE World Championship match at WrestleMania. Will the Wyatt Family still be a cohesive unit when WrestleMania rolls around?
