US under-18 women win FIBA Americas title

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) A'ja Wilson led the U.S. under-18 women to the FIBA Americas title, scoring 25 points in 21 minutes in a 104-74 victory over Canada on Saturday night.
Wilson, from Hopkins, South Carolina, was 9 of 13 from the field and had 11 rebounds. Napheesa Collier of O'Fallon, Missouri, added 18 points.
Shaylisha Colley led Canada with 16 points.
Also, Argentina beat Brazil 69-67 in the third-place game, Puerto topped Chile 51-49 for fifth, and Mexico beat El Salvador 77-45 to finish seventh.

The top four teams qualified for the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship in Russia.
