Connecticut All-America Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis injured an elbow in the second half of the top-ranked Huskies' 76-57 victory over No. 3 Stanford on Monday night.

The junior was coming down with a defensive rebound just over 2 minutes into the half when she became tangled with the Cardinal's Chiney Ogwumike. Mosqueda-Lewis fell forward, landing with her full weight on her right hand and elbow.

The arena went silent as she began shrieking and writhing on the court. She was helped from the court by a trainer.

The Huskies were leading 41-26 at the time. Mosqueda-Lewis had nine points in 22 minutes.

Connecticut coach Geno Auriemma said Mosqueda-Lewis would be further evaluated Tuesday.

Guard Bria Hartley said she talked to her after the game and that she ''seemed fine.''
