No. 25 DePaul rolls by Loyola-Chicago 109-84

CHICAGO (AP) Jessica January scored 25 points and Megan Rogowski added 21 to help No. 25 DePaul beat Loyola-Chicago 109-84 on Wednesday.

It was the most points for DePaul since scoring 111 against Appalachian State on Dec. 30, 2007.

Brittany Hrynko had 15 points for DePaul (7-3), Megan Podkowa and Mart'e Grays scored 14 apiece, and Chanise Jenkins added 10. The Blue Demons made 52.7 percent of their shots and held Loyola to 33 points in the second half after giving up 51 in the first.

DePaul tied a school-record with 16 3-pointers, led by Rogowski's six and January's four.

Becca Smith led Loyola (2-7) with 21 points, but had 10 turnovers. Taylor Johnson and Taylor Manuel had 14 apiece, and Molly Crosby and Sam Lambrigtsen added 12 each.

DePaul reached the 90-point mark for the seventh time this season after entering the contest ranked third in Division I scoring with an 89.6 average.
