Khaalidah Miller scored 12 points to help No. 24 Georgia beat Alabama 60-51 on Thursday night to win its sixth straight game.

Meredith Mitchell added 10 points while Porsha Phillips had 11 rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs (15-3, 5-0 SEC), who remained one of two unbeaten teams in the SEC.

Tierney Jenkins had her 36th career double-double with 24 points and 11 points for the Crimson Tide (11-8, 0-6).

Alabama jumped out to a 13-4 lead at the 14:11 mark, but the Lady Bulldogs went on a 21-6 run to take a 25-19 lead at the half.

Georgia opened the second half by outscoring Alabama 10-3 to extend the lead to 35-22 on a field goal by Phillips with 14:24 remaining.

The largest lead was 18, which Georgia had on four occasions, the last being 52-34 on a field goal by Anne Marie Armstrong with 6:16 left.

Alabama rallied with a 17-5 run to pull within 57-51 on a basket by Jenkins with 43 seconds left. But could get no closer.
