No. 19 Georgetown 59, Seton Hall 41
Adria Crawford scored 14 points to pace a balanced offense and lead No. 19 Georgetown to a 59-41 win over Seton Hall on Saturday.
Sugar Rodgers and Tia Magee each added 13 points while Monica McNutt had 11 for the Hoyas (17-5, 5-3 Big East). They have won three straight games.
Terry Green scored 11 points to lead Seton Hall (7-14, 0-8), which has dropped seven consecutive games.
McNutt made two long 3-pointers to give Georgetown a 6-0 lead. The Hoyas led 22-7 with 7:07 left in the first half and by 20 at the half. The Hoyas utilized a swarming, pressing and trapping defense which limited the Pirates to just 29 percent shooting (7-of-24) in the first half.
Georgetown had its own drought to start the scond half, going without a point for the first six minutes before Magee made two free throws. Seton Hall could only get within 41-31.
