Sugar Rodgers scored 19 points to lead four Georgetown players in double figures as the 17th-ranked Hoyas beat Cincinnati 65-54 Saturday.

Tia Magee scored 16 points and Rubylee Wright and Taylor Brown each added 10 each for Georgetown (18-5, 7-3 Big East). The Hoyas have won three in a row and five of six.

Dayeesha Hollins and Bjonee Reaves each scored 17 points for the Bearcats. Georgetown's trapping defense helped force 24 turnovers, Cincinnati's second-highest total of the season.

Kayla Cook hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the last 10 minutes to finish with 10 points for the Bearcats (11-12, 2-8), who had won two straight.

Wright's 3-pointer with 14:38 left in the first half snapped a 9-9 tie and sparked a 17-2 run that left the Hoyas leading, 26-11. Brown scored all eight of her first-half points during the run, including two 3-pointers.

The Bearcats cut the lead to four points three times but would get no closer. Hollins made a 3-pointer with 48 seconds left to pull Cincinnati within six, 60-54, but Adria Crawford made a free throw, Magee followed with a field goal and Rodgers - who scored 16 points in the second half - added two free throws to cap a game-ending 5-0 run.

Magee, who averaged 19 points in Georgetown's conference wins Jan. 24 at West Virginia and Jan. 29 over now-No. 13 Rutgers, also rebounded from a slow first half to score 12 points after halftime.
