LAS VEGAS (AP) Courtney Williams scored 22 of her 32 points in the first half and No. 10 Texas A&M beat No. 16 California 75-58 on Friday in the opening game of the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout.
Williams was 14 for 24 from the field. She started a 33-9 run for Texas A&M (5-0) with a basket that gave the Aggies an 18-17 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Courtney Walker added 18 points for the Aggies.
Kristine Anigwe led the Golden Bears (4-1) with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
