Kennesaw State has introduced Nitra Perry as its new women's basketball coach.
She officially took over Wednesday at the suburban Atlanta school, which is a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. Perry spent the last four years at Toledo, where she was associate head coach. The Rockets went to the Women's National Invitation Tournament three straight seasons, winning the title in 2011.
The 33-year-old Perry says Kennesaw State is ''a very special place that is on the verge of some great things.''
