Tyra White scored 20 points and Danielle Adams added 18 to lead No. 8 Texas A&M to an 87-78 victory over Arizona on Friday night in the Cancun Thanksgiving Classic.
Sydney Colson and Adaora Elonu each had 13 for the Aggies (4-0).
Texas A&M led by five early in the second half before scoring 12 of the next 14 points to extend its lead to 58-43 with 15:38 left in the game. Elonu had five points during the spurt.
The Aggies extended their lead to 20 before the Wildcats rallied, scoring the next 13 points to close its deficit to 72-65.

White hit a basket and Arizona (4-1) couldn't get within seven the rest of the game.
Davellyn White scored 16 points to lead five Arizona players in double figures. Shanita Arnold added 15 and Candice Warthen had 14.
