LOS ANGELES (AP) Candace Parker posted her 12th double-double in 15 games and Nneke Ogwumike did the same in her first game back after missing seven games to an injury to power Los Angeles to a 93-91 win over the Washington Mystics on Thursday night.

Parker finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds while Ogwumike added 24 points and 10 boards as the Sparks overcame a 15-point first-half deficit and earned their fifth win in six games.

Los Angeles (13-18) has won 10 of 15 games since Parker returned from an injury and the Sparks now have a 3 1/2-game lead over Seattle for the fourth Western Conference playoff spot.

Washington (16-14) now has lost five of its last six, a streak compounded by a back injury to Kara Lawson, who missed her fourth straight game.
