Yoel Romero hoping to face Michael Bisping for the title in Dallas in May

UFC middleweight and number one contender Yoel Romero hopes to face Michael Bisping for the UFC Middleweight title in May.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, Yoel Romero said through a translator that they are currently waiting for Bisping to recover from his leg surgery and are hoping to get on the PPV card in Dallas on May 13 to fight Michael Bisping for the title.
Romero became the number one contender for the UFC middleweight belt after beating former middleweight champion Chris Weidman at UFC 205 by a flying knee that knocked the former champ out in the third round. Since then, Yoel has been calling out Bisping via Twitter.
@bisping I hope you have a good surgery and a speedy recovery. I see you in May boi #ynuevo

Bisping has recently said that he would be looking for a big money fight next and mentioned names such as GSP and Anderson Silva as possible next opponents.
“I have a big respect for George St-Pierre,” said Romero. “I have been friends with him a long time but right now, right now, who is the best fighter at 185 lbs.? Yoel Romero.”
Romero is riding an eight-fight win streak with six of those wins coming via TKO/KO.
“If someone has a belt man, they need to defend it,” he continued. “Someone needs to take it from them. Who has the belt? Michael Bisping. Who’s going to take it from him, who’s the best at 185?
“I sleep like a lion, full of confidence, extremely tranquil. God is my strength.”
Another part of the recent back and forth between Bisping and Romero on Twitter has to do with USADA.
Usada sees me once a month and I am not scared but at least they come see me #wheresmike ? #ynuevo https://t.co/8JucgXI4tz

“You should be ashamed of yourself when you have done something incorrect, something bad. Believe me I sleep very easy,” he said. “That is the only card he has, that’s the only argument he can pull, the only ace up his sleeve.”
Romero has recently received his passport but said he will not return to Cuba until he wins the belt. For his part, Bisping has said he is looking to return from his recent surgery at the end of April or in May.
