The FOX UFC Saturday: Johnson vs. Moraga weigh-in went down Friday afternoon, but it was what UFC President Dana White told UFC Tonight's Ariel Helwani after the fighters hit the scales that resonated.
Namely, it was what the boss man had to say about Rory MacDonald's relationship with welterweight kingpin and close friend Georges St-Pierre.
"GSP would be insane to think Rory wouldn't want a shot at him."
Publicly, Rory is yet to insinuate that he has any interest in fighting his close friend for the 170lbs title. However, he hasn't been put in the position where that was a viable option yet.
That could all change after tomorrow's fights, and so could Rory's tune. We'll just have to tune-in and find out.
FOX UFC Saturday goes down Saturday, July 27th at 8/5P ET/PT on FOX.
