Cain Velasquez may have to win back the UFC heavyweight title in enemy territory after the former champ revealed on Friday that it's possible he's going to face Fabricio Werdum in March in Brazil.

Velasquez was in Houston for a fan Q&A ahead of the UFC 192 weigh-ins when the subject of his next fight came up.

"Dana (White) ended up calling me and saying 'Possibly what do you think about maybe January versus (Fabricio) Werdum?' I said 'Cool, I'm down for that and I'll wait for that fight.' Now we're hearing March in Brazil. I'm happy about that," Velasquez stated.

Velasquez will look to get a measure of revenge when he faces Werdum for the second time after losing the heavyweight title to him in June at UFC 186.

Werdum submitted Velasquez in third round with a guillotine choke to win the belt before taking some time off that will keep him out for the remainder of 2015.

Following the loss to Werdum, UFC officials confirmed that Velasquez would get an automatic rematch with a chance to avenge the defeat and fight for the belt again.

If the fight happens in Brazil as Velasquez suggested, it would be the first main event fight for Werdum in his home country as he looks to defend his title for the first time as well.

UFC officials haven't made any announcements regarding the potential Werdum vs. Velasquez main event in Brazil, but former middleweight champion Anderson Silva recently teased that his return to action was being talked about for a card in Brazil where he would compete alongside the heavyweight champion.
