UFC Fight Night on FOX Sports 1: MacDonald vs. Saffiedine viewing and schedule guide
Canadian contender Rory MacDonald will look to cement his spot as the No. 1 welterweight contender when he returns to action on Saturday night, but to get there he's going to have to go through former Strikeforce champion Tarec Saffiedine, who looks to make some waves of his own with a victory this weekend.
The two welterweights highlight the upcoming UFC Fight Night on FOX Sports 1 card as the promotion debuts in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada for the first time ever.
In addition to the five round main event bout in the welterweight division, Raphael Assuncao will meet Bryan Caraway in a pivotal bout at 135 pounds while to two winners from this past season of TUF Nations will both make their debuts as Chad Laprise and Elias Theodorou return to the Octagon.
