Following an action packed night of fights in Orlando, UFC president Dana White wasted no time announcing two new cards coming later this year to cities in the United States.

First up was a show on July 16 in Atlantic City, New Jersey taking place at the Revel Resort with a UFC Fight Night card airing live on FOX Sports 1.

Atlantic City was a haven for the UFC for many years when the sport was growing under Zuffa ownership with several cards taking place there along with help received from real estate guru Donald Trump.  The UFC most recently traveled to the south New Jersey gambling capitol for a UFC Fight Night card featuring the main event between Gray Maynard and Clay Guida in June 2012.

For the first time in nearly five years, the UFC will also travel to Oklahoma with a show taking place on August 23 for a UFC Fight Night card that will air on FOX Sports 1 from the BOK Center in Tulsa.  Oklahoma has been a huge hotbed for some of the best mixed martial artists on the planet, most notably because of wrestling programs like the one at Oklahoma State University where fighters like Johny Hendricks and Daniel Cormier competed in college.

The last card for the UFC in the Sooner state took place in Oklahoma City when Nate Diaz submitted Melvin Guillard in the lightweight main event of the evening.  The local show pulled in almost 10,000 in attendance, so the UFC probably expects a similar turnout for the upcoming card in Tulsa..

At this time, neither card has a headline bout, although UFC officials are expected to make announcements in the coming weeks at tickets are closer to going on sale.
