Tecia Torres faces newcomer Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger at UFC 194

Following an injury to Michelle Waterson that forced her to withdraw from UFC 194, Tecia Torres has a new opponent and will face RFA veteran Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas.
UFC officials confirmed the new bout on Friday.
"I think it's going to be a great fight and a stand-up battle for sure," Jones-Lybarger said in a statement. "I'm excited to make my UFC debut against somebody like her. I have a lot of respect for her in and out of the cage."
Jones-Lybarger holds an impressive 6-1 record in her career while training out of the MMA Lab, the same gym that produced UFC stand outs like Benson Henderson and Lauren Murphy.
Most recently, Jones-Lybarger took out former Strikeforce fighter Zoila Frausto in a lopsided, five round fight this past October.
Now Jones-Lybarger will step into the fray for her first UFC fight as she takes on Torres, who is currently ranked No. 5 in the world at 115-pounds.
Torres vs. Lybarger will remain on the UFC 194 preliminary card, which will air live on FS1 from Las Vegas beginning at 8pm ET on Dec. 12.
