Ronda Rousey was at the AIW independent wrestling show in Cleveland to watch fellow Four Horsewoman Shayna Baszler win the promotion’s women’s title

Both the MMA world and the world of pro wrestling hasn’t seen much of Ronda Rousey over the past several months. After her high-profile loss to Holly Holm, her appearances have been scarce. However, that still didn’t stop her from supporting the Four Horsewomen. Specifically, that didn’t stope Rousey from supporting her friend, Shayna Baszler, as she competing for the AIW Women’s title at an independent wrestling show in Cleveland on Friday night.

Baszler was in a match against Heidi Lovelace at the event on Friday. The two women have been competing against one another for quite some time, all leading to this moment at the AIW show. After a hard-fought match, though, it was Baszler picking up the win and becoming the new champion.

As she was celebrating the victory, though, both Ronda Rousey and Jessamyn Duke were watching from behind the curtain. They couldn’t just stay back there, though. First Duke and then Rousey came onto the stage and hoisted Baszler up to celebrate the win. Needless to say, it got a bit loud at the show in Cleveland when Rousey hit the stage:

Considering all of the buzz that’s always going to be around her, this is pretty wild. That she still takes the time to go to an indie wrestling show in Cleveland to support a friend is awesome. It’s just one of many reasons as to why she’s so damn marketable.

However, the big questions that remain are about when Rousey herself will be back competing in some form. There are always rumors, but there’s still nothing concrete as to when her hiatus will subside. It’s clear she still hasn’t lost her fame and/or popularity from this moment, though.
