Ronda Rousey made history by winning the first ever women’s UFC title fight last Saturday, and the entertainment world has taken notice.

Rousey was offered a role in an upcoming 'Hunger Games' sequel, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer. The second of the four 'Hunger Games' films, 'Catching Fire', has already been filmed, so the UFC star would likely have a part in the third installment, 'Mockingjay (Part I)'.

Rousey beat Liz Carmouche in the UFC 157 headlining bout via armbar. Rousey won the bout at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., with 11 seconds remaining in the first round.

Rousey would star alongside new Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence in the 'Hunger Games' sequel. Lawrence is signed on for the remaining three 'Hunger Games' films.
