REPLAY UFC Fight Night: Mir vs. Duffee weigh-in results
Frank Mir and Todd Duffee will both look to take a step forward in the heavyweight division as they meet in the main event for UFC Fight Night from San Diego after hitting the scale on Tuesday.
Mir looks to pick up his second win in a row after knocking out Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva in his last fight in February. The former heavyweight champion says he's healthy for the first time in hears and he wants to make an example out of Duffee after he called out Mir to land the fight.
Duffee was very vocal about facing Mir and now he's got his wish with a chance to face and defeat one of the most legendary heavyweights in UFC history.
The two fighters came face to face on Friday and didn't want to break away from their stare before security eventually pulled them off the dais.
Also on the card, Tony Ferguson and Josh Thomson weighed in to make their lightweight co-main event official for Wednesday night's card.
Holly Holm and Marion Reneau may have engaged in one of the most intense face-offs all day as the two bantamweight fighters refused to break from their staredown, and not even UFC matchmaker Joe Silva could get them to turn away from each other. Even as Reneau stepped backwards off the stage she continued to gaze at Holm who stared right back at her.
