Rashad Evans vs Tim Kennedy has been rescheduled for UFC 206 after being pulled off the UFC 205 card.

Evans was pulled from the UFC 205 card just five days before the event due to issues with his medicals, although those issues were never disclosed. In a statement released by the UFC, it was announced both fighters would be paid their show money.

“The UFC organization was notified today that the New York State Athletic Commission has denied Rashad Evans a license to compete at UFC 205 due to a medical issue. Evans’ scheduled bout against Tim Kennedy this coming Saturday, November 12 in New York, will be removed from the fight card. However, both athletes will receive their show money.  There are currently no plans to replace this bout.”

The fight between Evans and Kennedy was going to be the middleweight debut for Evans who is the former light-heavyweight champion and made a record-tying 19 appearances in that division. Kennedy was slated to return for the first time since suffering a third round TKO loss to Yoel Romero at UFC 178. After Evans was pulled off the card, Kennedy took to social media to call out Nick Diaz, Anderson Silva, or Michael Bisping to replace Evans on the 205 card.

UFC 206 will be headlined by a light-heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson.

Outside of Cormier vs Johnson and Evans vs Kennedy, the rest of the scheduled fights on the UFC 206 card are listed below:
