A new matchup in the women's strawweight division is in the works for UFC 186 as Randa Markos gets the opportunity to fight close to home when she takes on fellow Ultimate Fighter veteran Aisling Daly.

Sources close to the situation confirmed the fight to FOX Sports on Saturday following an initial report from MMAFighting.com.

Markos, who moved to Canada after her family left Iraq, trains in Windsor, Ontario near the border to Detroit where she works with fellow UFC fighter Daron Cruickshank amongst others.

Markos has been out of action since losing a 'Fight of the Night' decision to Jessica Penne at the Ultimate Fighter finale back in December. Now she finally gets the chance to redeem herself at UFC 186 in Montreal.

Daly accepts the fight after her last bout fell apart when opponent Claudia Gadelha suffered a back injury and was forced to pull out of their scheduled matchup at UFC Fight Night in Poland.

Daly, who was one of the most experienced veterans on the reality show, won her first fight in the Octagon with an armbar submission over fellow housemate Alex Chambers.

Markos vs. Daly joins UFC 186 just days after the main event switched on the card when bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw suffered a rib injury forcing him out of his bout with Renan Barao.  The new fight bumps the card back up to 12 total bouts with three matchups taking place between the women's bantamweight and strawweight divisions.
