Paige VanZant back in gym after debut win

LAS VEGAS -- Straw weight Paige VanZant (4-1) has been a busy woman the last month. The 20 year-old made her stunningly successful UFC debut Nov. 22 in Austin, TX with a third round TKO win over Kailin Curran, won a $50,000 performance bonus and started saving for her first home with the prize.

After running into "12-Gauge" backstage in the Mandalay Bay Events Center after the UFC 181 weigh-ins, FOX Sports learned that the UFC rookie is also back in the gym and in town to watch tomorrow's big pay per view event, in person. "I got back into the gym Monday [after her win], actually. I feel great," she said.

Standing next to a pile of Wheaties boxes with UFC lightweight champ and UFC 181 co-headliner, VanZant also picked "Showtime" to successfully defend his belt against Gilbert Melendez. "Anthony, for sure," she said with a smile.
