Michael Johnson, Nate Diaz get into pre-fight scuffle in Orlando

The fight between Michael Johnson and Nate Diaz got started 24 hours ahead of time after the two lightweights nearly got into a scuffle ahead of Friday's weigh-ins in Orlando.
The video captured by UFC middleweight Tamden McCrory, who faces Josh Samman on the FS1 prelims this weekend, posted on Friday shows Johnson and Diaz face to face when the No. 6-ranked lightweight gets shoved before UFC officials quickly intervene to defuse the situation.
The two fighters were apparently doing some pre-fight paperwork and check-ins with the UFC ahead of the weigh-ins when they encountered each other and the altercation occurred.
Johnson was dragged away by a UFC official while he was still shouting at Diaz, who was there with his training partners ahead of the weigh-ins.
Needless to say this short video only raises the anticipation for what is sure to be an interesting staredown at the weigh-ins on Friday.
The FOX UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Cowboy 2 weigh-ins kick off live at 4 p.m. ET.
