McGregor parties with Willie Roaf

Published Oct. 4, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

UFC featherweight Conor McGregor might be spending his days trying to rehab his knee back to full health after surgery, but he's taking his nights to a whole new kind of physical therapy.

The outspoken Irishman took to Twitter on Friday to reveal his most recent trip into the city where he was joined by 2012 NFL Hall of Fame inductee Willie Roaf for a visit to The Library.

Now this Library isn't one filled with books and knowledge — it's actually an Orange County strip club where "it's like going to Vegas without having to leave the OC" (according to the club's website). With a 300-square-foot bar, seven VIP areas and 11 LED TVs (and most likely Motley Crue's 'Girls, Girls, Girls' on constant replay), McGregor was probably in for an interesting evening out in Orange County.

How McGregor and Roaf became pals is unknown, but then again we are all still trying to figure out how Alan Belcher got Cincinnati Bengals lineman Wallace Gilberry to offer up his Rolls Royce for a bet against Michael Bisping earlier this year.

Regardless, McGregor's after-hours therapy session left a big smile on his face, although it's unclear how much blocking Roaf might have done to steer the ladies in their direction during the night's proceedings.

McGregor said he received a blueprint for his recovery from UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, but maybe something got lost in translation between the French and Irish accents.

Either way, McGregor appears to be a very happy man right now.
