Matt Brown refuses to shake hands with 'Cowboy' Cerrone during intense face-off

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone has a tendency to smile and joke with all of his opponents during the customary face-offs during fight week from press conferences to weigh-ins.
He tried to do the same thing with Matt Brown ahead of UFC 206, but the Ohio native wasn't having any of it.
During the pre-fight staredown following media day in Toronto, Canada on Thursday, Cerrone approached Brown with his hand extended and the same jovial look on his face that he has before almost every bout in the UFC.
This time, however, Cerrone was treated to a grimacing look from Brown, who refused to shake his hand while looking at his opponent with incredible intensity throughout the tense face off.
Even when UFC president Dana White told the fighters to face forward for a photo opportunity, Brown kept his eyes trained on "Cowboy" and never looked away until he turned to leave the stage.
Brown told FOX Sports earlier this week that he's not a big fan of Cerrone or his attitude ahead of the fights he has in the UFC.
"It's been shown in the past — he doesn't like a fight. He only likes beating up other people," Brown said. "I think I'm the wrong type of person to be in there with when you're that type of person. Whether you hit me or not, I'm going to hit you back.
"I think a lot of that comes from when I talk about the lie, his camp is lying to him, the people around him are lying to him. They're telling him how good he is, a lot of 'yes' men and it's just a big lie. When you get to the real savages that are going to push back, that's when the lie gets exposed."
